Get More Organized This Spring

It’s hard to believe that Spring is already here, summer is just around the corner… Not only has the weather warmed up, the flowers have bloomed and the grass is greener, but our brains are seeking for a refresh. Spring is the best time to reorganize things in life and avoid clutter.

Research shows that focus helps increase productivity and organization is the key to a better quality of life. So if you are on the hunt for a better way to organize your life and schedule this spring, we highlighted our favorite 24me features, to help you stay on top of things and make this spring like no other

Adding Events, Tasks and Notes

The core of 24me is that everything is in one place: all your calendars, tasks, notes and personal reminders. Create and organize your notes, events and tasks on 24me. That way you can have everything organized in one place and fit your tasks right between your events. Stay organized and make spring time easier with 24me.

Add multiple labels for tasks

Labeling tasks helps in better organizing it to different topics. Since some tasks fall under multiple categories, with the latest updates of 24me you can classify a task under multiple labels. You can also choose to view tasks by labels, so that 24me sorts the tasks into the buckets of the labels names.

Multiple Labels

Nag Alerts

24me’s nag feature keeps nagging you (every 1 min, 2 min, etc.) to complete a task. Activate the nag feature to set a repetitive alert for a task you don’t want to forget.

24me Keeper

A new way to keep websites as tasks in 24me. Adding the power of 24me tasks to Keeper gives you the option to set a reminder for the right time to visit that website. Save your tips on spring cleaning, favorite recipes, articles about organization (like this one ?) and start using this feature!

Email To Tasks

We know there are many tasks lying in your emails, and therefore creating tasks right from your inbox is a must! With 24me, all you have to do is forward the email you want to add as a task to task@twentyfour.me, and it will be waiting for you right in your task list! (*available with 24me Premium).

Procrastination Fighter

A smart algorithm that fights procrastination by learning the user’s behavior, looking for open slots in the calendar, and kicking butt by sending a notification with the right time to complete overdue tasks.

Make time for the most important things in life, by organizing your schedule and being on top of things this spring.

Please let us know what your favorite features are and which ones you found the most helpful!

24me Embraces Diversity

Diversity is a term that gets thrown around a lot these days. According to a research done by Forbes Insight, 48% of the survey respondents strongly agree that a diverse and inclusive workforce is crucial to encouraging different perspectives and ideas that drive innovation.

At 24me, it’s our company mission to embrace diversity. But what does it really mean? It means being open to different ideas, backgrounds and cultures. It means being willing to learn from others who have different perspectives than you do. It means celebrating the differences between people. Diversity cultivates acceptance of the mix of genders, cultures, and nationalities. Diversity is more than just an idea – it’s an asset to any organization that embraces it.

By bringing together people who are different from each other, we can accomplish more as a team. That’s why we have and continue to assemble such a special team. Our diverse team has members from countries like Ukraine, Austria, Armenia, Kenya and Israel who have been working together for years.

We believe that being a part of a diverse team allows for a more open mind. The various religions, cultures and backgrounds in our team give us the opportunity to think differently and more innovatively. Diversity helps us understand how time management is being perceived in different cultures, and what’s important to emphasize while working on new features related to the schedule.

It helps us build a product that is suitable and available worldwide due to the simple fact that each individual on our team brings their own aspects and thoughts that are influenced by their culture and background. This opens up a lot more opportunities for our product to stand out and provide a better experience for our users.

Aside from increasing innovation, open mindedness, higher accomplishment and better decision making, diversity increases creativity as a result of numerous perspectives. Overall, it leads to a higher employee engagement rate.

Diversity is a vital aspect in the workplace and in our daily lives. It benefits us in many ways and helps us grow. 24me always embraces and welcomes diversity. For this coming international day of cultural diversity, we wish you to enjoy the benefits of diversity.
We would love to hear from you: what do you think about diversity? Do you work in a diverse team? Write us your thoughts in the comments below.

Get Ready For 2022 ? Be On Top Of your New Year’s Resolutions ?

kelly-sikkema-htDhtz2GqAc-unsplash

2021 has been productive, inspiring and full of achievements. But it also brought challenges dealing with Covid-19, keeping social distancing, working from home, and taking care of our families. We hope you made the most out of it, and that you’re ready towards 2022.

A new year is a promise for a fresh start. It’s our goal here at 24me to help you fulfill this promise. So to boost your productivity in the new year, and to make life simpler, we are releasing today a major version of 24me. This new version, which is available to download on the App Store, was made especially for the new year –  with more than 30 new features to get organized and be on top of your new year’s resolutions.

Here are the main new features you get when you download the new 24me for the New Year:

– Keeper: keep websites you visit as tasks in 24me

You are probably getting so many notifications throughout the day. They might be about interesting articles that you don’t have the time to read at that moment, or about a website with information you might need for a future project. This is what 24me’s Keeper is for: a new way to keep websites as tasks in 24me. Adding the power of 24me tasks to Keeper gives you the option to set a reminder for the right time to visit that website. Furthermore, you can use 24me labels to label those keeper tasks, and organize them into different topics. We believe that Keeper will allow you to be super organized in the coming year.

.

– Set reminders for specific calendar accounts

You have been asking for this feature for quite some time. With the new version of 24me you can choose which calendar account to get reminders for. That will allow you to be more focused and have better control over your schedule and your reminders. Enabling this features is done via 24me Menu > Visible Calendars.

.

– Set the default duration for calendar events

Some people love to set one hour meetings, some prefer 45 minutes and others like to keep it short and up to 20 minutes. We already know that every one of you has different habits and different preferences for how to manage time. For better ease-of-use we added the ability to configure the default duration for calendar events. Enabling this features is done via 24me Settings > Default event duration.

.

– Hide/Show tasks on the calendar

Another feature for customization and enhanced organization is the ability to define whether to show tasks on the calendar. If you want the calendar screen to show only events, you can do so with the newest 24me version. Tasks are always presented on the Tasks screen. Enabling this features is done via 24me Settings > Show tasks on calendar.

show tasks on caledar

.

– Customize repeated events

We are making our support for recurrence even more robust. With this new version you are able to set a weekly recurrence on events, and choose on which days of the week to have the event repeat. For example, you can set a recurring event to repeat every three weeks on Mondays and Wednesdays.

.

– Add multiple labels to tasks

We know that there are tasks that can be part of multiple projects. That’s why we’ve added the ability to add multiple labels to tasks. For example, “Buy groceries” can be labeled with: ‘household errands’, and ‘shoppings’. Then, once you are using the Label mode on the Tasks screen, you will see that task under both those labels.

.

– Split screen support for iPads

We added the ability to use split screens on iPads to enhance your productivity. You can now use 24me together with another app, side by side.

We believe 2022 is going to be a wonderful year. We wish you all to become even more focused, keep the resolutions you had promised yourself at the beginning of the year, build healthy habits, and stay on top of things. We will keep improving 24me to provide you with the best personal assistant experience.

Wishing you and your families a happy new and productive 2022 ??

App Store Features 24me App Developers: Behind The App

Screen Shot 2021-11-08 at 2.45.05 PM

We are excited to share articles about 24me that were recently published on the App Store. We are humbled for this opportunity, given to us by Apple, to share our personal story. A story about parents, who decided to build a personal assistant to get life in order and be on top of things.

We started 24me years ago as an automatic to-do list, which was revolutionary for those days in 2013… Since then, 24me has evolved into a one stop shop for managing everything related to the schedule: One place for all your calendars, to-do lists, notes and personalized reminders.

Screen Shot 2021-11-09 at 1.31.46 PM

As parents for young kids, we felt how challenging it can be to juggle work and family all together. That’s why every feature we added into 24me, has been thoughtfully crafted. Every functionality added to 24me came to existence out of a real life challenge we or our team had experienced. We created 24me with lots of love and attention to details, to help people like us be on top of things.

Today, 24me has grown to be so much more to so many different users worldwide. Our team is so proud to have millions of users using 24me as their own personal  assistant.

We are sharing the two articles about us, the founders of 24me, where you can find our personal story about how we grew the app:
