Hi. When I try to transfer my Astrid data, I get an error message, “This file is not a valid Astrid exported file.” I tried dragging the file, I tried unzipping and attaching the .csv file… A little help?

    • Amy

Nevermind! For some reason doing it from my work computer (instead of home) worked fine.

    • Alberto

I’m facing the same problem, but I don’t any other computer to try it.
      Any help ??

  • Wade

I like the look of the app but I’m not seeing recurring tasks. Maybe i’m missing something, but it looks like unless you link to an account it won’t show you recurring bill or task.

Hi Wade, there are two different types of tasks – one that are generated automatically for you (orange color) and the once you create yourself (black). The Orange once are created once you connect your life in (via my links –> scroll down to see the hidden bar). Bill payments, birthday tasks will automatically pop up for you on time.
We are about to release a new version within a few days that will include reoccurring tasks – you will define a task and decide it’s frequency.
Let us know if you have any questions!

I was trying to logging with my account (same facebook user and password). I got “wrong user/pass”. I’ve doubled checked the information… keep the same error message.

I had to reset my password… but now I’m stucked on “This file is not a valid Astrid exported file.” error.

    Any help ??

Please make sure you use the original zip file you got from Astrid and not an uncompressed file. Please let us know if you still have problems.

      • Alberto

Yes, I’m using the original zip file. Even dragging and dropping the file or choosing it on a Select File dialog.

Also tried do this on Chrome and IExplorer. Same error.

Also tried download a new file from Astrid without shared task. Same error.

let me first apologize for that.
Can you please send the zip file to us. We would like to take a look at that.
